Though celebrated in September, and this year many the fests were put off, there are still PLENTY of yummy October releases to put you in the fall spirit! We are in the land of plenty when it comes to tasty beer, and here is a list of all the microbrew releases this fall! And if that's not enough to wet your whistle, there's still an Oktoberfest (called the Fall Back Fest) up in Estes Park on November 2nd!
Apples, apple cider donuts, apple pies... This place has it all. Pick some apples and enjoy some tasty BBQ, alongside bluegrass serenades from local band Stirrup Trouble. 5) Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Chill
Break out that fall sweater and head down to Thump Coffee, Wash Perk, Cherry Bean, Allegro, Drip Denver, or Novo Coffee for the best pumpkin spice lattes and chai lattes around the city. Bring a blanket with you and a favorite book or podcast, and head to the park for some you-time! Need some socially-distanced social interactions? Meet a friend on the patio! The weather will be in the 80's until October 10th, then it drops into the 60's - a great excuse to get dressed up in your favorite fall threads!
6) Haunted House
Obvious favorite! But did you know that there are actually haunted houses open this fall? Socially distanced, y'all! Out There Colorado ranked their favorite haunted houses for 2020 here, including the very first DRIVE-IN haunted house, City of the Dead & Asylum in Henderson. Also on the list is our favorite, Anderson Farm's Terror in the Corn, a 25-acre corn maze haunted by literally your worst nightmares. Enter if you dare!
7) Date-Night In: Scary Movie and Fall-Themed Dinner
Surprise your date, your friends, your roommate, or family with a fall-themed night at home! Break out the horror flicks, goosebumps novels, or scary stories and cook a fall-themed meal. Here is a list of top fall recipes that we absolutely LOVE. We especially like the Thai Butternut Squash Curry and the Fall Harvest Honeycrisp Apple and Kale Salad. Don't know what to watch?
