We are ecstatic to feature the fabulous and inspired abstract paintress, Gabrielle Shannon, for the month of August! A Denver-based acrylic artist, Gabrielle finds inspiration in the connective tissues of nature, liminal spaces, and moments of expansion, contraction, structure, and chaos. Gabrielle has recently adapted to the COVID-19 crisis by moving her art studio into her garage at home, finding an abundance of time that she can dedicate to marketing her business, working on commissions for clients, and preparing for shows this coming fall and winter. She also has offered her time by displaying her works in homes listed by the Art of Home Team, like this contemporary Berkeley home below.
Painting with gorgeous greens, blues, purples, and pearls, she captures a natural essence – unique, and yet familiar – in each distinctive piece.
