June in Denver is a time of vibrant colors, joyful gatherings, and heartfelt celebrations. One of the most anticipated events of the season is Denver Pride, a weekend that brings together over half a million people to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

Mark Your Calendars: June 28–29, 2025
The festivities kick off on Saturday, June 28, with the Denver Pride 5K. Whether you run, walk, or sashay, this event is a fun and meaningful way to support The Center on Colfax and its year-round programs for the LGBTQ+ community. Registration and festivities begin at 8:00 AM on Lincoln between Colfax and 14th, just west of the State Capitol, with the race starting at 9:30 AM. The route takes participants along 14th to Cheesman Park and back, offering a scenic and spirited course.
Following the 5K, Denver PrideFest opens at 11:00 AM in Civic Center Park. This two-day festival features over 250 exhibitors, 30 food vendors, and captivating live performances across four entertainment zones: Center Stage, Absolut Dance World, US Bank Latin Stage, and the Family Area. It’s a celebration of love, diversity, and equality that continues through Sunday, June 29, concluding at 6:00 PM.
Don’t Miss the Vizzy Denver Pride Parade
On Sunday, June 29, the Vizzy Denver Pride Parade steps off at 9:30 AM, starting at 17th Avenue and Franklin Street and concluding at Lincoln Street. Due to the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, the parade route has been adjusted for 2025. Join over 100,000 spectators to cheer on colorful floats, marchers, music, and more as we come together to celebrate the Rocky Mountain queer community.
Experience the Gayborhood Market
A highlight of PrideFest is the Gayborhood Market, a space dedicated to supporting local LGBTQ+ small businesses, entrepreneurs, craft-makers, and artisans. This initiative lowers the cost barrier to access PrideFest participation, allowing approximately 100 wonderful businesses to showcase their incredible offerings. It’s a fantastic opportunity to shop local and support the community.
