There’s just something about a weekend morning spent at the farmer’s market that feels like summer, isn’t there? The scent of roasted chilies in the air, live music floating between stalls, and the sweet satisfaction of chatting with the folks who grew your tomatoes. Around here, we’re lucky to have a bounty of local markets, and we’re not just talking peaches.

Whether you’re looking for organic produce, artisan bread, locally raised meats, or fresh-cut flowers to brighten up your kitchen table, the farmers’ markets in Denver and Boulder deliver. It’s also one of the best ways to connect with your community and scope out a few charming neighborhoods while you’re at it. (Real estate tip: the heartbeat of a neighborhood often pulses at its local market.)
