Hello, dear readers! Today, we’re thrilled to introduce you to a company that truly elevates daily living: New Box.

New Box provides their clients access to the exquisite craftsmanship of imported Italian cabinetry, closets, doors, and floors. They collaborate with homeowners and contractors to design and install high-end products at affordable prices.

We love their style and couldn’t wait to share with you this gem tucked away in the RiNo district of Denver!

An Inside Look: Interview with Britta of NewBox

We reached out to Business Development Manager, Britta Mayer, to talk about what sets New Box apart. In our exclusive interview, Britta shares her thoughts on the latest design trends, the benefits of European craftsmanship, and how New Box is transforming homes across Colorado.

1. What inspired you to start this business, and how do you select the brands or manufacturers you work with?

Ten years ago, when the mountain modern look started to take off, we saw the void of a European cabinet supplier in Vail. That has since evolved into a multi-product building supply company built from relationships with family-owned companies in Italy and expanded to Denver seven years ago. We also sell beautiful yet affordable engineered hardwood flooring from Austria and Spain.

2. What makes New Box products stand out in terms of design, quality, and craftsmanship compared to other options available in the market?

Italy is well-known across the globe for its trend-setting, chic designs and superior quality in not just cabinets and furniture but all types of products from cars to clothing to cuisine. They even make doors sexy and appealing because elevated design is at the core of their culture.

3. How do you keep up with trends in design, and do you see any specific design elements or materials gaining popularity in the U.S.?

The innovative designs coming out of Italy are years ahead of the trends before they make it to the US. For 2025 we anticipate more color, less neutrals, and more texture. At New Box, we have hundreds of options for panels including grooved lacquers, frosted glass, smoked glass and even a new shou sugi ban (Japanese burnt wood style) inspired product.

4. What advice would you give to customers — what should they keep in mind when designing or choosing materials?

We have a design team to help create the space of your dreams while keeping the scope within your budget. New Box offers a tiered line of brands from luxury customizable to mid-range to the cost-conscious price point. We can mix and match the various lines without sacrificing quality. Every home should be personalized to fit your needs, making it your own style and not necessarily following the trends.

5. How can people get to know your business better or contact you?
