We, the Art of Home team, know that selling a home is about more than just square footage and listing prices—it’s about creating a space that feels welcoming, functional, and beautiful. That’s why we love working with Hemma Stage & Organize LLC, a Denver-based home staging and organization company that brings a unique Nordic touch to every space they transform.

Meet Hemma Stage & Organize

Hemma Stage & Organize specializes in home staging, decluttering, and senior transitions. The mastermind behind it all, Cecilia Gadd-Siegel, truly understands the magic of simplicity and intentional design.

She considers every project individually and aims to highlight its unique characteristics. Her Scandinavian-inspired approach creates spaces that feel good, with clean lines, natural elements, and a sense of calm.

We’ve seen firsthand how her work completely changes the energy of a home. Whether it’s rearranging furniture to highlight natural light, adding soft textures for warmth, or decluttering to make a space feel more open, Hemma makes an impact.

What are you currently working on?

Currently, we have active stages in SoBo, downtown, Applewood, and Aurora. The spring is busy as we’re out every week doing staging consultations. The beginning of the year is also spent helping clients organize and sourcing new furniture and decor to replace inventory we sold off in December.

What made you get into this?

I’ve always been interested in home decor and have always kept my home organized. With a daughter in college and a son with a driver’s license, I decided a while ago it was time for me to start a new career. I’m a former middle/high school French and Social Studies teacher who wanted a change.

With the encouragement of two great realtor friends; (Heather Truhan with Art of Home and Jennifer Gentry with Green Door Living), I decided to leap, going from helping friends with their homes and going official. Art of Home is my storage and staging buddy and it’s been an amazing partnership.

What issues does it solve for your clients?

The staging part of my business gives my clients an edge on the real estate market by making their properties stand out with a fully furnished space. Having their listings show photos of how the property could look, be furnished, and be lived in gives them an advantage over other properties that are marketed as more of a blank canvas or with outdated furniture and decor.

Staging is the main part of my business, but I also do residential and commercial organization, as well as senior transitions.
With both of these areas, I utilize the technique of Swedish Death Cleaning, which sounds much more morbid than it is. Google it! We organize homes, garages, storage spaces, and business inventory. You name it.

We also do senior transitions where we help seniors organize, donate, pack up, and install them in their new residences. It’s the most rewarding work to work with seniors during this often difficult time in their lives. With our dementia clients, we pride ourselves on making the new place resemble their old residence as much as possible, to ease the transition. It can be upsetting.

How is your work different?

I’m Swedish so Hemma staging’s general look definitely has a Scandinavian vibe. Now that can take a traditional form or a more modern one. We pride ourselves on going the route that’s best for each property. We definitely focus on ”lagom”, the Swedish phrase for ”just enough”. Each space is styled lagom. Not too much, not too little. Just enough not to overwhelm or underwhelm the senses.

I’d also like to add that we spend a great deal of time talking to realtors and homeowners about their property. What area is it in, what is your target demographic, the age of the home, traditions/history of the neighborhoods etc.? We would never style a downtown condo built in the 60’s the same as a Victorian house in Five Points built in 1890 the same way.
Hemma also sources wallpaper from Ronneby, Sweden, my hometown. Designed and printed there.
