Ice Cream. Soft Serve. Gelato. Thai-Rolled. Dipped Cones. Sundaes. Oh my goodness, did we miss it! Now that restaurants in Denver are starting to re-open, there is but one thing on our minds (aside from all the gorgeous weather): which ice-cream shop do we stop at? As this is a serious matter that requires some facts and figures, we’ve drawn up a yummy list for you to peruse, while you make the difficult decision of where to stop first for your delicious frozen treats.

Team Favorites:
1. Lik‘s, because right now you can get pints to go. We love to walk from there to Cheesman Park with our dogs, and enjoy some Amaretto Cherry or Mexican Flan as the sun goes down!
— Heather & Ken Truhan

2. High Point Creamery in RiNo, they do seasonal fresh fruit sorbets which are amazing. I like it because can grab ice cream and a glass of wine!
— Tara Curry

3. Dang Soft Serve. Our family loves the totally awesome 80’s vibe of Dang Soft Serve. The bright colors, fun music, friendly staff and the option of fries with your soft serve. My personal favorite twist is chocolate ganache, vanilla with Butterfinger crumbs- yum!
— Liz Thompson
4. Nuggz! Local favorite for those in park hill. Wide variety of every changing flavors. Great patio spot off Colfax. Their Brother Finger Shake is by far the best shake in Denver.
— Marc Bayes

5. Sweet Cow in the Highlands! I am vegan and they have nice vegan flavors. Definitely try the vegan peanut-butter oreo. Plus, that cow is so cute.
— Jessica Klein
6. Nevaria Chamoy by Cherry Creek Reservoir. They make rolled ice cream, which is when the chef uses a cold plate to freeze the freshly-made ice cream mixture in front of you. I found this place earlier this year because they were doing an experimental pop-up flavor-of-the-day: Hot Cheetos. It was hilarious and also so spicy and delicious!
— Jamie Nagode

7. Sweet Action on South Broadway. If I’m ever walking South Broadway – winter or summer – and their garage doors are open, I’m a gonner. Can’t beat the smell of fresh-baked cookies and homemade ice cream. Their flavors change daily, but right now I’m loving the Stranahans Whiskey Brickle.
— Shannon Brown

Having a tough time choosing? Don’t choose! You have all summer to try them all, and each of their fabulous flavors! Mmmmm.
