Average Sale Price: The average sales price in September for detached single family homes was up 0.63% over August, to $742,192.

Average Days on Market: The average days on market in September was 25 days. This is up 42.9% when compared to August.

Active Listings: Active in the metro area were up 1.68% when compared to last month to 5,563 homes.

Quick Take:

The market continued to reset during September. We saw an increase in active listing inventory and days on market, and a drop in pending listings and in the percent-sold-to-list-price.

Supply of inventory jumped 97.99% when compared to last year at this time. Bonus for buyers!

Prices remained high with detached single family homes selling for an average of $56,295 more in September than this time last year. Bonus for sellers!
