Cherry Creek Dog Off Leash Area (DOLA) | S Entrance Rd, Aurora, CO 80015

One of the more well-known parks to take your dog Cherry Creek DOLA boasts over 107 acres of open fields & a beautiful trail. A reservoir runs through this area that is perfect to cool off on those hot days.

Chatfield Dog Park | 11500 N Roxborough Park Rd Littleton, CO 80125

This is the perfect place for getting some exercise with plenty space to run & explore. There are many dirt trails and a paved trail weaving across the 69 acres that this fenced area sprawls across. With many trees for shade, hills to run up and down, and 2 ponds this is an exciting park for the dogs to explore.
Westminster Hills Off-Leash Dog Park | 2 parking lots: 10499 Simms St. & 11610 W. 100th Ave.
Known for its size this 420-acre site is popular with Coloradans! Partially fenced this park is a perfect area to pack extra water, lunch, and go for an all-day adventure! With so much space to explore it is great for both playtime and getting away from the crowds.

Forsberg Iron Spring Park | 15900 W Alameda Pkwy, Lakewood, CO 80228
Forsberg might not have the size that some of the other parks on this list have but it is still a great place to take the dogs for the day. This park is on a giant hill with plenty of space to run around and includes some agility training features! What we love about this park is it is a short walk to the William F. Hayden Park trailhead on Green Mountain. After letting your dog get in some playtime head on over to Green Mountain where their many hiking trails that span across 2,400 acres of open space. Note the pups need to be leashed on Green Mountain.

Tony Grampsas Dog Park | 4471 Salvia St, Golden, CO 80403
This 2.5-acre site is a wonderful place for both people and dogs. If you’re looking for a more wooded area with large trees and shrubs this is the perfect place for you and Fido!

Bear Creek Dog Park | S 21st St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
This park makes the list as it has everything a dog and their hooman could want! The 25 acres are prime for exploring, wading in a creek, and practicing agility training. This park is unique in that 2 acres have been set aside for small dogs and senior dogs so they could avoid the larger or more energetic ones! As some added bonuses water is provided for the thirsty fur babies and an area to wash off any mud.
It’s no wonder they are the most visited park with over 100K visitors a year!

Fox Run Dog Park | 2110 Stella Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80921 (close to Monument)
For the dog days of summer and needing to escape the hot sun, this is the perfect park that is heavily shaded with ponderosa pines. 5 acres that include many picnic tables for sitting down while watching the dogs run around. Similar to bear creek the park has carved out a small dog and a big dog section. This is a park worth exploring with many locals that come every day it is easy for both you and your dog to make new friends!
