Are you looking for fun things to do over this 4th of July weekend? We have prepared a list of daytime activities to evening fireworks just for you. Check out all the ways to celebrate our nation’s birthday in Colorado.

July 3rd | Civic Center Park | Denver | Gates open at 4pm

One of Denver’s greatest traditions is gathering at the legendary Civic Center Park. This 4th of July there are many things to enjoy here! Catch a concert by the famous Colorado Symphony, visit booths of local artists, food trucks, and be wowed by the fireworks blasting off around 9:15 pm! 

July 3rd | Farm House at Breckenridge Brewery | Littleton

Celebrate this weekend with live music from Arapahoe Philharmonic, food & drinks from Breckenridge Brewery, and a fireworks show that will light up the skies!

July 1-3 | Cherry Creek North | Denver

This festival is always a huge draw as it has over 200 incredible artists from all over the country displaying and selling their unique work. With many family activities, music, food, and drinks, you won’t want to miss out on all the fun. Cherry Creek North outdoor mall & neighborhood is the perfect place to spend your weekend.

July 4 | 900 Via Appia Way |  Louisville

This fun run is for honoring your favorite heroes. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite hero costume to walk, run, or sprint in the name of freedom. A party will be waiting for you at the finish line with food, an expo, prizes, free photos, and more.

July 1 | Santa Fe Arts District | Denver | 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Kick off the weekend festivities by attending the First Friday Art Walk in the famous Santa Fe Arts District. Local artists display their works throughout the streets and shops. Support the community, meet the artists and take in the individuality of this exciting district.

July 4 | Multiple Locations

Colorado Springs will be hosting a day of music, fireworks, and entertainment galore! Starting at 10 am, head to Historical Rock Ledge Ranch for civil war reenactments, educational activities & more! Later in the evening, refer to this map on where to go to see the beautiful firework display.

July 4 | Monument | 7 am – 5 pm | Fun run & pancake breakfast starts at 7am

Monument is celebrating the 4th this year with a street fair, beer garden, parade & live music starting at 8am downtown. Before the fair, begin your morning with a fun run at Palmer Lake Santa Fe Trailhead or delicious pancake breakfast at St. Peter Catholic Church.

July 1 & 2 | Coors Field | Denver 

A Colorado tradition for many is attending a Rockies game over the 4th of July weekend to cheer on our home team and bask in one of the most spectacular firework shows blasting off over the stadium. Be sure to get tickets soon before they sell out!

July 2nd | Cranmer Park |  Glendale | 6 pm – 10 pm

Glendale is hosting their annual 4th of July community picnic accompanied by live music from The Denver Municipal Band and a fireworks display! There will be sweet and savory food trucks, or you are welcome to bring picnic baskets and beverages with you. Pack up your lawn chairs, blankets, and yard games, then head over to this relaxing and fun community get together.

June 23rd- July 4th | FlatIron Crossing Mall | Broomfield | 3 pm – 10 pm

A carnival is a perfect way to spend the day as it offers many exciting amusement rides, games, and food! Save $3 by purchasing tickets online.
