Local artists are our passion and Denver has no shortage of amazing talent! Here are a few of our favorites.

NICOLE KORBE

Nicole is a Colorado-based artist inspired by a love for and collective memories of both urban and natural landscapes. Her work intuitively reveals itself to her during an additive and subtractive mixed media painting process that emphasizes light, texture and depth. Always evolving, Nicole’s primary techniques include wax mediums with various pigments. Her visions range from pure abstraction to impressionism. She currently exhibits in Denver at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery and at her own recently opened gallery in Littleton, NKollectiv at Aspen Grove Shops.

“Being creative is as natural as the air I breathe. I was fortunate to have grown up in New York in a very artistic environment. My Father was an Artist and we spent every weekend in Museums or making art.
I started my very early art training at The Art Students’ League in New York. Grove Arts in California and SVA in New York followed. In 1994, I co-founded “Urban Desires”… the first online art and culture magazine on the web. Urban Desires allowed me to explore and influence art in its many forms and won numerous awards and worldwide praise.”

TAYLOR HERZOG

Taylor Herzog is a Colorado based painter, muralist, and lover of dance. Her work resembles and plays off the structure and foundation of the Colorado landscape she boldly portrays and loves. Each of her paintings are a visual diary, a representation of her playfulness, energy, vitality, and willingness to love and explore. It’s simple to get lost in the vibrant colors, textures, and topographical elements that her work exudes.
